Distant Shores

I can see the reflection in your eyes.
In the far off place the distant shores arise.
With songs of hope aloft on the wind,
The shadow will vanish from our lives.

No more suffering; no more disease.
No more broken hearts; no more war.
No more splintered homes; no more pain.
No more selfishness; no more sin.

Within this veil we now live for Christ
Eternity finds root in our hearts.
We trust in his work on the cross
And in his resurrection bodily from death.

No more suffering; no more disease.
No more broken hearts; no more war.
No more splintered homes; no more pain.
No more selfishness; no more sin.

Someday beyond the realm of death
We shall stand before the throne of the Lord God.
We shall bow our knees to worship him
And give account for all our deeds, good and bad.

No more suffering; no more disease.
No more broken hearts; no more war.
No more splintered homes; no more pain.
No more selfishness; no more sin.

And as we weep in remorse,
By his hand our tears will be wiped away.
And there will be no more crying, no more pain
As he speaks the words we long to hear him say.

Well done, faithful servant. Welcome home.
Tears will stain your cheeks never again.
Come into my rest. Be at peace.
For precious in my sight was your death.

No more suffering; no more disease.
No more broken hearts; no more war.
No more splintered homes; no more pain.
No more selfishness; no more sin.

I like these lyrics. Do you have music to these words?

Thank you for the kind comment. :)For these particular lyrics I have a roughed out melody, but nothing completely worked out on keyboards.
